We have a late lunch time this year from 12:38-1:08pm. Therefore I will allow students to have a brief snack time mid morning. Please feel free to send in a class set of snacks (such as pretzels or goldfish) or you can send a healthy snack just for your child. Suggestions of healthy snacks are yogurt, applesauce, grapes, strawberries, apple, banana, raisins, etc. No drinks (other than water) will be permitted as we do not want a mess in the classroom. Students who bring in an unhealthy snack (candy, chips) will not be permitted to eat it in class. The snack is to refuel the students for learning, we don’t want to get them full of sugar so they have difficulty concentrating. Thank you for understanding.
