Timeline Project due November 5th

That’s right, now that the Paper Bag Book Reports are done, it’s time for our next project.  Based on the Homework Survey that you filled out, parents indicated that you’d like to see 2-3 projects per quarter.  One will definitely be a book report each quarter, the others will apply other Reading skills with Social Studies or Science.

Project Assigned:  Tuesday, October 23, 2012

Project Due: Monday, November 5, 2012

This assignment is an application of Reading and Social Studies skills.  Students will need to apply their knowledge of sequencing, timelines, and text features to create a timeline of their own lives.  There should be one entry and picture per year of the student’s life.  Be creative!  Then write two reading comprehension text feature questions about your own timeline that a classmate can answer.  Be sure your questions are typed on a separate sheet of paper.
